I'm 100% certain that today T stock is worth right about $30 per share. How do I know that? Because it's trading at $30 per share, in an open stock market with full SEC disclosures and billions of dollars of buyers and sellers free to act on their decisions. If AT&T as a company performs in the coming quarters and years, the stock will go up. The inverse results in the opposite. Media will either pay off and work, or it won't. That's the very biggest question for T now. T execs, with absolutely no Hollywood experience, were immediately made Hollywood moguls. Only time will tell how that works out. Content will either make Ma Bell into a new company, or break her back and bring her to her worn out old knees.

That article was about how to calculate how much a company is worth, not how much they think the stock should be.

A stark contrast to what you are reading. It’s not a good thing to be competing for the most heavily indebted company on the planet.

Seeking Alfa was making a theoretical argument, based on Warren Buffet valuation steps, that T was worth $117, on the high side.

Last I saw, a J.P. Morgan analyst was making a Risk/Reward analysis of $39, from the current $31 price. They went from Neutral to Overweight.

If you’re young and a value investor, T has probably seen bottom. Overall, analysts have a Hold rating on it. Treat T like a bond, it’s no rocket stock. You get a solid 6% in dividends for the wait

I will bypass any insinuations to Forrest Gump (nuts, screwed that up already) but the OP made a statement regarding a stock pricing of $68 to $118 and that J.P. Morgan supports that analysis.

Ok kids, the remark was made by a J.P. Morgan analyst, AND it was an analysis ABOUT J.P. Morgan....Not AT&T! Jim Cramer had a few syllables to say on that subject as well.

Yes, the OP could be a Troll, but let’s not discount Stupid!

Anyone dumb enough to pay that much for a share of this sinking ship deserves to lose their money.
