Simple: Dump never told lies or made stupid promises to "protect" any AT&T jobs, so he doesn't give a wet slap about whether anyone gets cashed.

The only reason Dump cares about the GM plant is because their closing exposed his lies and false promises. You can bet if Dump talked about AT&T jobs during his Nuremberg rallies he would be twitterbarfing in rage about Randy.

Because GM= government motors. The govt bailed GM out.

Without changes GM would look like GE in a couple years, and need another bailout. AT&T is doing same thing, they just started sooner and moving slower.

GM should have bribed Trump's lawyer like we did. Then they could do whatever they wanted like we do.

Totally different situations. GM was bailed out by the government.... AT&T was not.

AT&T just like any other corporation can choose to downsize as much as we don't like it.

Part of GM's agreement with the government for it's bailout was that it would keep certain plants open for a set amount of time, but they're shutting those plants down now.

T doesn't have any kind of agreement with the government. These are two totally different situations.

The difference is that AT&T has a dream team of lawyers, lobbiest an regulators, that assist the company avert legal issues, though stealth layoffs below the trigger of Fed labor.laws

If it is questionable or boarderline illegal, AT&T IS ALWAYS THERE

AT&T knows how to fly under the radar. Instead of announcing tens of thousands he does hundreds here, hundreds there.
