The companies announced that the 5G phone will be available for customers in early 2019. Even though the representatives of both companies didn’t discuss any specifics about the characteristics of the device nor the true details of the partnership ( like will the device be available only to VZ customers or will it be supplied to other carriers also), it’s now a fact that the world’s first widely available 5G phone will be available to VZ customers. A Qualcomm processor will power the device and it is going to be presented at the Qualcomm Snapdragon Technology Summit in Hawaii.
