Yeah, because “tenured” associate means we are “ancient” too.
Sounds like long tenured employee could realistically have a case for age (and wage) discrimination. If Sam's retains younger, lower paid "associates, and lays you off, seek an attorney's opinion.
They do hire Sam's associates. I know a few people who have gone to different ones. Don't let the words of 1 person make you think different.
Stating my friends facts:
Applications from Sams associates are called last. Too many negatives associates trying to jump over. Typically not adaptable to change. Can’t carry heavy work loads. Cut too many corners on operating procedures.
Best post ever!
They don't eliminate jobs
They have many many long term employees
They are always happy

You can be happy anywhere. It’s up to you. Do your job and stop getting wrapped up in drama... it’s pretty easy. But you know chase the grass is greener outlook it just might work for you.
If they’re posting they deserve attention... that all anyone wants on here because apparently you aren’t getting enough someplace else.
Bahhahhahahhahaa. Idk the poster. Just sayin!
I know people who have gone to Costco, and are happy.
So since the original poster and the 2st comment are both coming from the same person, my advice is to pass this one up. Nobody comment on it anymore. Let the trolls starve.
Yes, but Sams associates are miserable and bring their bad habits along with them. Why should Costco take you in? Just saying from a friend...
