One more week

Am I the only one who is rethinking my decision more and more the closer the December 10 approaches?

No regrets at all. I hope I can leave on 12/28.

Nope. The only thing I worry about is if they keep me beyond Dec 28, because I have a new job.

Nope. Relief is what I feel. I used to love working at Verizon and felt lucky to be working here. Not anymore. I look forward to a happier, healthier and prosperous life.

Verizon employees are in high demand.

VZ paid to educate us. Now other industries will reap the profits.

It cost far more to develop an employee than to recruit one.

Zero job security at the phone company.

No regrets at all. Pushed on the first day and never looked back. I watched what VZ is going through happen to BellSouth nearly 20 years ago. I already know what life will be like for those who stay.

I'm glad I did. I hope I'm accepted with a December end date. I have three job offers already from major companies in different industries. After 18 years with Verizon I'm out!

I don’t even dare to dream of the day I am told I was accepted and can leave. I’m trying to expect to be denied just so there’s a pleasant surprise one way and no disappointment the other way.

Zero buyer's remorse!

Been a nice job.

Remember you were looking for a good job when you found this on.

Not rethinking the decision for one second. I only hope I'm on the list for a 12/28 departure date - I've made lots of plans for 2019 and eager to get on with my life after Verizon.

I haven't had a moment's regret since I hit the "accept" button at 12:01 am on October 1st. Now I just can't wait until next Monday to hopefully get good news that I'm accepted and out of here end of this month. And in reality, even if you are having regrets, there's nothing you can do about it now. I remember reading somewhere in the fine print that if you accepted the offer, you must leave the company on your designated date regardless of any change of heart.

Happy with my choice to leave, but terrified they’ll deny it just to spite me.
