This was always a way to legally discriminate against older employees. Very few people are being let go. Each group has a number, so unless you hit the lottery, you're probably not going to get it unless you have 20+ years tenure. And I think most of the people leaving will be former wireline.
There still will probably be big cuts in the markets and care in January, but that's separate from all of this.

most of these jobs have inflated salaries when you think about what people actually do half the time

I pray that you are right. I knew it would be crazy here in 1Q after the VSP departures but I didn't predict the sh*tshow that I'm seeing already. My director is trying to retain some of us but I really hope I'm one of the lucky ones gone 12/28. My best to all of you.

I’m very close to a vp.. Verizon doesn’t need any added pressure. Everyone is not going to get it tru but it is based off of individual orgs.
