Apparently there was a rumor going around on these days that Sam’s Club is closing some of its stores in 24 states. Luckily that turned out to be just a rumor, as the company officials declined this. Just wanted to post this in case someone else has heard the same rumor and is still worrying.

They were so straightforward with it last year, NOT! I found out multiple clubs had closed from a text my friend sent me from businessinsider.com...The MM's didn't even know until the night before the closures, so you think a reporter who had a 2 minute convo is going to get the "REAL" scoop. Get a grip.
"Important visits"? Sounds like an oxymoron to me.
@uvi my club closed in January. The area was getting a ton of visits. But I also noticed sometimes when it was supposed to be a big visit, we would get skipped. I'm pretty sure they had already made up their minds that we were going to close, and didn't waste time on us with the important visits.
The MidWest was untouched on the last massive club closures. It is coming. How many visits has your club had in the past 6 months?? It makes sense now.
Sorry to be negative, but they will deny it until it is announced. I'm not saying there will be more store closings, but what I saying is don't believe anything they tell you. As a matter of fact, it is usually the opposite.
Ok, so I just not actually read the article. This is so dumb. A news company in North Carolina called and asked because there were rumors online. When they called, Sam's club said no.... This doesn't clear anything. Not even a little. There are going to be so many changes this January including closing stores.
Sounds like someone leaked info. Sure they are going to deny it. We will know it when they shut the dang doors! Everything is a secret 🤨
No company closing stores would ever announce it ahead of time, that's just stupid right there.
I'm sure if the company said it it's TRUE. They've been so forthcoming with information in the past
