Those are telltale signs you are on "the list" -- awful, but true. What a despicable company and manager.

Sadly, no character left at WF.

I pray you are spared.

I've been through a re-ieg and now my job has become meaningless. Projects have been taken away and my boss has become cold. Should I be worried?

What I love are the emails politely asking me to donate to Political Action Committees that lobby for less regulation of the banking industry. Yeah. That’s gonna happen.

I worked for a banking company many years ago. They forced the internal employees to donate money and items to their poor and homeless donation campaigns. Then they laid off all of those internal employees, replaced by overseas workers, and shut down the USA banking center.

I find it somewhat disconcerting that Wells Fargo keeps sending emails to their employees encouraging them to donate money to all of their campaigns to collect money for the poor and homeless people when the employees that they are now laying off from employment at Wells Fargo may well end up being the beneficiaries of the poor and homeless donations of the company. Ask people who are being laid off, or soon to be laid off, to donate money for the companies public relations campaigns and then the employees who donated will no longer have a source of income from which to obtain money to support themselves. Also when there are no annual raises and an employee no longer receives much of any annual bonus payment the employee cannot then be expected to donate money to the poor and homeless Wells Fargo campaigns.

Manager recommendations. Span of control will determine some shifts (those with less than 3 or so DRs).

On what basis are names being selected? Randomly? Performance reviews? Recommendations by managers? Will any managers get cut? My group has multiple managers with 2-4 direct reports. Is that considered Efficient and Effective?

Marketing hit will be in 2019. We're already selecting impacted staff (ready to submit names once new year starts).
