Anybody expects to see an increase in sales, even a small one, at the stores or will this be just another "can you solve my problem" day for all of us?
With all the deals available online a day ahead, I'm thinking we might see only a slight foot traffic increase at the actual stores. If that.
They don't want upgrades but sure as hell have no problem raising my upgrade quota month after month. Just keep selling more to make less.
With upgrades it's a funny situation.. the company does NOT want more upgrades.. but for example Marketing is being asked to get more upgrades
. So when the company doesn't come with good promos for upgrades but certain depts are expected to increase in that area lol.. you have to laugh.
We had lots of upgrades because customers said “Verizon never does a promo that allows upgrades” which has been true for over 2 years
Even selling 38 boxes on Friday, I'm not even close to quota, we were as dead today as we we're last week....why didn't these fools run the sales all weekend...
And right back to reality today, maybe 30 people tops came into the store....
We had 20 in qu from open to close. Didn’t get out as many phone adds or upgrades as I’d like but I had a huge day with pull through and ard
I'm not in sales but these promotions we're actually worth going out for. When I first found out about the Android promo a while back I knew the sales would be up. The Apple promo as normal was announced late.. and internally THEY we're already aware the X would possibly run out. But not having to trade in a phone and not having to add a line I'm sure helped the upgrade #s like CRAZY.
this blk friday was insane. 79 new 146 upg. ran out of iphone x. great day. even slang a few hum just so they can boomerang back.
Today actually felt like a blk Friday from years ago. People coming in the store steady all day and buying. Amazing what can happen when Verizon actually has blk Friday promotions that are a little better than Sams, Walmart, bestbuy and target.
Who would have ever thought?!? Oh wait, everyone in retail dealing with c-ap promotions these last few years!!
I've sold 3 tablets and 2 phones so far which is decent. Not enough to justify the 12k sales bucket mind you, but it's better than normal.
Already took 3 bill payments and helped two people activate the iphones they got from Walmart last night. :-/
