Yes they kept a record of who backed out, and that was not looked upon favorably by HR

@1wub, I never heard any union member regret not taking an offer, but I have heard the opposite many times, particularly starting around 2008, when loads of people were blindsided by the economic downturn’s gutting of the Market’s affect on their retirement income projections.
It was painful to here the stories of utter desperation with few if any options.
They made some changes and rolled out something I've been wanting. I think that changing my mind was a good decision. But I still question the competency of our C-level execs. Two in particular.
Some anonymous, possibly trolls, have expressed it here but, at my worksite, I never heard anyone mention regretting not taking a specific package either. Most of my exposure is to craft.
I’ve been here over 25 years @1wub and, in that time, I have never ever, even once, heard a manager or a union member express the sentiment that you claim to hear a “...bunch of people crying I should have took it”.

Backed out after I had a good bargain with dirs. It was right time to bargain if you are a key resource.

Well somehow even some managers got info of who checked on the 10th and then who was checked at he end of the 17th.
So unless they all leave they know. I wouldn’t expect it to be kept somewhere official like a personell file for lawyering purposes
