People who are facing the loss of their livelihoods through no fault of their own have every right to be cynical about any “good deeds” done, and of course heavily promoted, by their soon to be ex employer. We are facing job loss due to the criminal activities demanded If not perpetrated by the very people donating those coats. Fire us from our jobs, foreclose on our homes, illegally reposess our automobiles while we are overseas serving in the military, and make it all okay by handing out new winter coats? Sorry - no. Won’t fly.

Y’all can be angry about the layoffs. But at least you have currently have a good job - albeit maybe insecure. The people who are receiving these coats don’t have jobs. They can’t afford coats. Don’t be douchebags. It won’t help you keep your current job and it won’t help you find a new one - internally or externally.

BYW, I donated 3 coats to a local One Warm Coat event in my city. I won't help WF sc-ape up good PR anymore! What a self-serving sham!!!
