I am aeare of managers qustioning the selection of the people leaving, I think that AT&T did a poor job communicating this, " new initiative", to the business, reason? " need to know basis", after the Oracle release the system initistes emails with projected offboarding details of the impacted people, everyone have an associated risk# the highest, goes out first

{Most layoffs are strategic, many people does not know that AT&T Very efficiently though Oracle's budgetary system integration from last year, meaning that your inmediare supervisor may not know that you are leaving, this list comes out periodically and only a selected few can access them.}

This post reeks of an H1B. Welcome to the future AT&T. They sure want American customer's money, but despise keeping American workers.

Huh? Other than the fact this makes no sense, the part I can decipher is erroneous. Your immediate supervisor is always in on the discussion as to who is leaving his team. If he says he wasn't, he's lying.

Contractors in some groups hit with 5-10 furlough days before EOY, no surprise there. Projects are canned, SAFe will take care of more downsizing. Everyday more people in TD back in the office working less. No morale, no incentive, just misery.

If your organization has not had a call yet re: layoffs, you won't be having any layoffs before EOY.

If you believe your safe buy working hard your going to be in for a shocker. Hope your resume is up to date, and get ready for a long vacation without pay. ATT will not be a shinning star on your resume and good luck finding another job for what your getting paid. Just saying from experience. Not to be a troll, but giving you heads up because its coming and don't be a camel in the sand. I did and it is not pretty when you pull your head from the sand.
