Is AT&T headed for a downfall just like GE? Should I sell the stock now? Seems to me it would be better to take a little loss as opposed to a complete loss. Heard a lot of bad things from employees and to be frank, they're the insiders that are probably in the know.

OP: it's not you, it's $T
At&t cant be compared with GE, Their Technology Infrastructure is a business group of General Electric composed of: GE Aviation, GE Healthcare, and GE Transportation. .etc, their management kamikaze this great company to he financial ruin it is today, .. due to the staggering financial losses led to the unit's formation in 2008 from companies within GE Infrastructure.
As opposed AT&T to day still selling pots service as in 1971, In addition the overal quality of AT&T empmoyees is mediocre at best.
Depends, may in management, but overpaid union members will be the las ones to go, seniority rules

No you didn't. Investors with the resources to do such a thing wouldn't waste their time on a website like this. They might buy your story on Yahoo Finance, so go try there. Nice troll attempt though.

You should have sold awhile back...
Yes the company has way too much debt!!!
T will eventually have a junk rating and will be like GE- unable to access commercial paper
MANAGEMENT BLOAT TO THE MAX...
Millennials are not buying subscriptions, so that leaves the old, sick, and you.
Good luck with your subscriptions, T will need to sell billions of those to make a profit, and of course they will remain in business for many centuries, but without you and me, and many
isn;t it funny how as the price moves down the dividend percentage moves up. They are a solid dividend company, as long as they can keep those subscriptions going every month. THey have always been good at generating cash.

I bought T as a dividend stock. It is paying 6% right now. If they ever cut the dividend, I will sell all my shares. If you bought T as a growth stock, SELL!!!
Tough call. Att is in for some very rough times for a while. The advantage over ge is att have last mile connections. While plenty of people have given up landlines there are still many landline customers and states want to ensure that’s still available so they won’t go out of business. They are a public utility. As for the stock again hard to say but if you look at history att stock has been in the 20s ad 30s for a long time. I say sell and take the loss.
Seems to be heading the same direction.
