Call center salaries

What are the salary ranges of the call center supervisors, managers and directors? Wondering if they are considered high wager workers eligible for the package.

Used to be in the CSSC and was a teamlead. Salary was starting in mid/high 50’s +eligible for $29,000 for commision on a monthly basis. Some TLs were making high 60s- 70s base+comp. they recently changed to a non comp structure with the yearly STI. Salaries were in a sense made whole— with more guaranteed salary. Call center managers were making more salary and comp of $37k I believe.

Exactly. Relying on costumers to be your installation techs is beyond stupid. At least for a service company.

If your into do-it-yourself, you can do that with CallCentric (and a dozen others) for around $5 a month.

True, actually. Hans places little value on the service delivery component of doing business. So he might, for example, thrive as a T-Mobile CEO or a low-cost MVNO operator. But this view poorly matches the profile of a premium provider.

Perhaps he and Shankar believe that AI Chatbots can fill the gap? I'll be honest, I really don't understand how Hans thinks the big picture will come together, other than the transfer of capital from wireless and wireline into new areas of growth which he had selected while working as the Ericsson CEO. Perhaps if he laid out a credible plan, he could get more employees on-board?

"Self service eliminates it all. Bloat!"

Another name for "self-service" is corporate s---c-de.

Think about it. Verizon charges premium prices. The companies who rely on "self-service" charge a fraction of what Verizon charges.

Are you related to Hans? I was just wondering because you have the same flawed thinking.

I was a supervisor in a call center that closed. Between short-term incentive and salary, I was about $60,000. Make way less elsewhere now but much happier.

Trust me we make more than that pending your line of business. I’m wireline and I have been a supervisor in a call center for 5 years and I made no less than 97K. Think about it my direct reports are Union and they Make about 35 to 38 per hour. Some of my direct reports at end of year because of OT make a 80k easy. I don’t know anyone who would endure what we do for 50k to 60k

My peers with less tenure maybe 80K. I’m sure my boss base is atleast 110 and I’m sure Director is atleast 150. I would think we fall under the higher wage bucket.

average call center with no OT up to 10 yrs seniority 45-60K. Supervisors 50-70K Sr Mgrs 60-80K. Outsource is 50% of these salaries. Self service eliminates it all. Bloat!
