@1fqd: When I mentioned fiber I was referring to “gigapower” aka AT&T Fiber.
glf, how will these high speed users traffic get backhauled to the data center so it can reach the internet? thought process? FIBER. plus the airwaves can handle so much speed/users at the sometime.
T-Mobile-sprint will not change the competition structure. Sprint is so far behind they don’t even see them. AT&T never looks at consumer markets, they are more concerned with the business to business markets, as they drive most revenue and margins. Just look who they have for customers. US government, UPS, FEDEX, onstar and just about every Berkshire company.

On our 4Q town hall our VP told us that it was shared on the earnings call that cord cutting is accelerating and more customers are going completely wireless yet here we are investing in legacy technology LOL. I love me some fiber don’t get me wrong but customers want that speed everywhere.
