Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

It’s time for Randall to go

Randall if you’re reading this, please do the company a favor and resign. Under your leadership the company has suffered. This constant fear of losing your job is no way to live and while I would understand if it was anything but your fault but you’ve been the constant in this mess. We used to be the company to connect people better than anyone else. You have tarnished the brand that so many used to hold in high esteem. You used to be able to say proudly that you worked for AT&T but then you came in from SBC and ruined it.

Randall sold his wife’s company all or most of At&T’s real estate. Since then At&T has RENTED the properties from her company getting ALL of her money back. Another way to look at this is Randall OWNS all of At&Ts real estate PERSONALLY.

Dear Peons.

Kiss my Ca$H.

My father in law gave me this job as payment to marry his spoiled daughter.

I do not wear any at&t branded apparel. I used to be proud to work for the company as well. People feel free to come up to you and tell you their horror story with at&t. Friends and family ask me what the hell is wrong with the company. We treat our customers like c-ap. Didn't used to be this way. Randall's tenure has been a nightmare for many customers. He must be living in a bubble surrounded by yes men that tell him that everything is OK. Or he just doesn't care.

Randall and all of the C-Suite guys have done what most other corporations have done in the past 25 years since regulations were rolled back allowing them to do it: Wreck the company balance sheet with debt to enrich themselves with dividends and share buybacks. from 2014 to 2017 AT&T didn't have enough free cash flow to pay the dividends and buybacks to shareholders, it had to borrow. Then Randall in his wisdom paid $100B for $1B of profit with Time Warner. Maybe by 2118 AT&T will make it's money back.

Don't get me started on the banks.

Productivity has increase over 200% since the 70's while real wages minus inflation has stagnated, and actually gone down since 2000.

I wish they would all get the prison cells they deserve, but that's not the world we live in.

Whatever is said and done, at the end of the day, I used to be proud to say I worked for SWBELL/SBC/AT&T. Now days, you could not pour and melt me wearing a company badge. We park our company cars as far as possible from any establishment we have dealings with to avoid to gauntlet of customer complaints that one can incur by stepping 20 feet into the public. You go get 'em Randy, but please don't ask me to be a "Brand Ambassador" .

Here is your error : this is NOT the old AT&T. This was the biggest con SBC pulled when they did the buyout of the old AT&T.

Randal was instrumental to this.

And no, he ain't gonna leave on his own.
