@WWzejx4-1nvr - I don't see VPN being eliminated from laptops, testers and production support need it for off hours.
It happened yesterday.... several people , most telecommute. I was told yesterday, i work under Chandler. Letter will be received before end and f month, off payroll end of March.
In regards to CRE and real estate space...the company will only keep those that can occupy the current office space in the hub cities/collaboration zones. That should give you an indication of the amount of workforce reduction coming. No more VPN, no more remote workers.

What criteria was used for laying off the first round of folks?
Patel DRC org. I can confirm the calls. There were 3 calls. Call 1 (early call) - immediate surplus. Call 2 - 2pm call - impacted, can volunteer, find out end of month. Call 3 - 3:30 call - not impacted.

That's the group I am in and we had the call yesterday. Some weak asses may wait until friday towards the end of the day to tell their people. There were 2 calls. The earlier call i suspect was to the people affected. The second call was to tell the rest they are not affected. I was on the second call. No one has details about stuff like this until later. I dont see too much BS on this site, so STFU. Get the F off. Donovan had a town hall last month announcing surpluses going out.
Chandler org was one with surplus calls today. OP is correct.
The poster is correct. Digital/Retail/Care was one of the impacted orgs.
Heard the calls were coming but our Org not notified yet....expect to hear something if not tomorrow then next week...
Notice there no job title mentioned and no VP was mentioned... we all know when something real goes down that person posts a legit title/group something to give us an idea where.don't feed into these trolls who create fake c-ap for a thrill....

The great part about collab space from a real estate perspective is you need less space per person.
I wonder if leadership worked with CRE to ensure there will be enough office space available for bringing everyone back into the office. The company has closed many offices over the past few years.
What VP was it?
It depends on what part of Donovan's organization you fall under. The call I was on lasted about 4 minutes and consisted of the VP reading a prepared statement and took no questions. There was no pattern who was or wasn't impacted.
I am down the Donovan chain in ATO/CDO and have not heard anyone mention receiving an email, so either our group is safe this round, or at least this week.

Moving work to specific regions does result in layoffs - multiple people on my team are being surplus due where they are located.
All impacted employees will receive an email today and responses must be completed by midnight Jan 14. The last day of payroll would be Feb. 28 who elect and Mar. 29 who don't elect.

This hourly torture called surplus / layoff / re-org on a daily will sure to improve your Health, work-life balance, mood, personality, and family life so enjoy it. It might not last forever.
That’s just Org changes, nothing to do with surpluses, not yet anyways.
