How customers abandon AT&T

Here is a good representation of the process of abandoning AT&T services and choosing the competition instead. I know this is just a personal experience of the author of this article, but sooner or later every customer starts weighing the ratio between the price and the quality of service. What’s, even more, sad is that AT&T seems to be continuing to pursue the policy of “charging more for less” and there is every possibility that that will continue in the streaming business as well.

I think this 5G (evolution) marketing approach which implies that there is something 5G about the service when there isn't is turning into a public relations disaster. They're getting nothing but bad press on this. That's how AT&T loses customers, by being deceptive.

I think AT&T should fire whoever is responsible for this marketing move.

I don't even call customer service any more. The only reason I call anybody is because they screwed up my bill. Then they try to sell you some sort of c-ap discount program.

This industry doesn't have to be so dirty. They are not honest at all.

Customers get worse and worse. It is a hell on earth dealing with the screaming , swearing and childish tantrums.

My favorite customer scenarios;

Rep : hi this is ,,,,how can I help you ? ...

customer: I've been on hold for x and transferred x times.

Rep: sorry to hear that , you've got the right person to help you . what kind of service do you have ?

customer: i dont know...tee hee hee

Rep; is it for tv phone or internet ?

customer : I have at i dont know ...tee hee hee

Rep: what is your account number ?

customer:i dont know...tee hee hee

Rep: what is the phone number you gave us as a contact

customer : i dont know...tee hee hee

or my most favorite

customer: I have wi-fi

( this happens over and over everyday in customer service )

**ok people, time to be grownups here ....you don't know your account number , you don't know what kind of service you have ...really?...its in YOUR house ..you don't know if you have a SATELLITE dish on your house , seriously ( then you have bigger problems than we can help you with....you dont know your phone number ? And NO you don't have "wi-fi" ....Wi-fi means you have ~internet service~ and use it wirelessly. ***

Here s a helpful hint that as adults you should already know -

Have your BILL in front of you, or log into your account . YOU are given tons of information when you order, setup service (account number, password, monthly cost , install date and time).

We are not here to manage your disorganized lives.

WE are not psychic , the service is in YOUR home so know what the hell you have . Know ~something~

* YOU are the reason hold times are so friggin long . *

Be prepared when you call.

WWeqrUU-txq, WHY would customers show brand loyalty to the AT&T corporation? AT&T shows no loyalty to their customers. Instead of showing appreciation to long term customers, as smart businesses used to do, AT&T jacks up their rates as soon as they possibly can.

AT&T is a cabal of greedy sociopaths who exploit their customers and their employees. No one in their right mind would show loyalty to an organization like this.

A large amount of customers ride out the promo and switch back and forth. Not a whole lot of brand loyalty the day your promo expires and your bill jumps 100 bucks a month.
