I was legay T, southwest, until surplused in Feb 2018. Prior to that, an entire southwest legacy T call cener was surplused in Nov 2017. Options were to take surplus or move over to legacy S contract in another city. Some took that option and lost out on contract benefits. Talking to multiple active folks and consensus is that company goal is to remove as many legacy T folks for contract leverage. Several Legacy T union reps, also surplused, indicated that the remaining few have little to no options left once contract is over. If you are remaining legacy T, strongly recommend; if bargained read contract to know what layoff options are; get financial planning in order; start networking for other jobs outside the company and take the free education courses being offered through Alliance. Good luck.

Nope, nada, nothin’, zip, zero! Not even talking. But I bet you’re still getting union dues taken out of your check for all that non-negotiating. Might as well face the fact that AT&T will get what they want in the end.
