Verizon is a pathetic company to work for.... almost as bad as Walmart. They made layoffs their bread and butter of their business. That there is a page dedicated to this is a red flag. I know it has its minions who love it and defend it at any cost ....

oh but companies do convert their employees to all kids of outsource firms. Go read the Oracle, Qualcomm, IBM boards. Vz is actually behind the 8 ball here.

I think it laughable that you compare Verizon to Walmart. Do you even know anyone who works for Walmart? Pretty much EVERY company has layoffs. If you find it so pathetic, by all means, look for something you think is better. Or, you can continue to wallow in your misery. Your choice.
