I am a team member that loved working at WF and have prided myself on customer satisfaction. I helped make new processes that saved WF millions. However, I have integrity and all these things that have hurt front line team members and customers really makes me upset. I am not proud to say that I work there anymore. I still take pride in my work but feel that another company will be more worth my efforts. It’s not that I don’t want WF to succeed, I do. But for the average team member, we are not appreciated for our efforts. WF has taken away so much in my 14 years, it’s us that are paying for others misdeeds. The guy that falsified FHA loan eligibility for instance is a mid level manager still for quality control. Tell me how that is right. The fine was over a billion. It’s regular team members, not the good old boy club that pays. So I am not surprised that people want a better job.
Fed won't end. Look up the history of every president that ever tried to get rid of the central bank choke hold...
I do not believe there is hope for any of the Big Banks. Once Trump either ends the Fed, or guts them, and gets us back to a gold standard, I don't believe you'll see the big banks being able to profit the way they currently do and will either have to divest, or shutter.
1) while this post originally is childish, I also find myself looking for work outside of WF. The scandal and post scandal has shown me while I may put WF first, they will not show me the same. Contrary to popular belief, I can love WF and still believe we are still on the wrong path. I can love WF and still have opened eyes enough to see that the board promoting Sloan is more of the same. To the comment about “being better off without you” your mentality is apart of what is wrong with WF. Birds of a feather flock together. You might not know it but, there once was a time where WF looked at People as a Competitive advantage. Not an expense we need to reduce. Without the hard working teams who built this company and the relationships they developed, WF would have tanked years ago. It’s like you people don’t get it. CEO’ s and Board Members do not carry this business.
2) as long as senior leadership and the board keeps people in control of the company who helped ruin it in the first place real change will not occur. The truth is they are going to continue inching us back to the old ways cause the old ways are what got them their promotions and big bonuses. They were rewarded for their behavior, not punished. Now at the expense of the everyday team member, they will look for ways to pad their pockets.
Wow just spouting rumors I see I can tell you I have called the ethics line before action was taken on it and I still have a job over 9 years later so ext rumor please
Make the company better-you mean by calling the ethics line to report wrongdoing, and being fired for their trouble?
The only way to make WF better is to break it up and sell off the parts. The rot goes too deep to redeem it any other way.
No better off with people willing to work to work to make the company better. The bank would be better off with out those people good riddance
