The dictator Hans is going to cut winner circle and presidents cabinet in pyiscal years 2020. Maybe not be true but I believe he is so he can get a bigger raise. Make more money than the whole store combined

They need to boost upper management head count and cut the people on the front line.

I agreed. We don’t need too much of management layers and flat structure is better.

Hans need to remove concept of ED and Dir. Both are doing same kind of job. No need of Sr Mgr, AD and ED.

Mgr - Sr Mgr - AD - D - ED - VP - Sr VP - CIO

7 layers no need.

As a person that worked outside of sales, I went to one of the kickoffs during the 'Change Energizes Us" theme years. I was surprised to see people that won trips for sales, awards, recognition etc because this is a saturated market.

A good portion of people that won those awards are no longer working for the company. Either they were let go or left because of the current practices. People that have won awards outside of sales were let go as well.

Those awards dont matter when a RIF/Layoff/VSP come around. It doesnt matter if you sold a lot of phones or met KPIs. It doesnt matter if you completed that project faster than expected. You will still be affected.

The sad part is that between the beginning of this transition and now, departments are still feeling the affect of those that were let go or left. This will not get better until the company is operationally stable (fiscally-wise).

I would tell all of those in sales to get some capital together, and open up your own business as a reseller. Offer something more or solve a problem for those that still want a brick and mortar experience. Staying in a corporate owned store is just buying time before they close them down.

Phones sell themselves.

Necessary cut backs to get Verizon ready to be sold. Facebook or Google.

@jdq, you cannot use the term obsessive as a substitute for the word excessive. They mean two different things.

It's about time. He should cut executive director and director stock options as well. Since when are they part of the executive branch. It think their 40% bonus and 75% options are a bit obsessive. Since most of them are afraid of making any decision.

He should get rid of.

VES

Telematics

Anything to do with 2m2

Smart Cities.

None of them made the company a dime.
