There is a point though where one is taken advantage of and feels owed.
Having to cancel plans and work late for the hundredth time because of things that are someone else’s fault like your manage or heir manager who forgot or just decided they needed something first thing when it’s already 5pm.
Having to work ten hours at work and then go home and work till you pass out for the Xth time because things are due to others and they must get done or you get written up.
Working 7 days a week for months each year and just not bothering logging vacation days because you work them anyways.
Or countless other things. And yeah sure you might get a better performance rating but that amounts to a couple thousand dollars because they have to take from someone else to give it to you.
So I can see why people might feel owed. I also realize we aren’t owed they paid us that is that.
