Verizon admits Oath is in free-fall

The recent decision to cut approximately 10% of Oath’s staff along with the statements of the company representatives in the recent SEC filing give me undeniable proof that the company leadership made peace with the fact that Oath is tumbling down and that there is little that can be done to save it in the form in which it exists now. I really feel for the people that are being let go, as they are the ones that are paying the price for poor decisions that the leadership made.

VZ dumped unneeded and expensive senior leaders into Oath. No wonder it can’t make a profit, look at salary and wages.

When I was growing up companies would do annual cuts. Cut the worst performers like the bottom 10%.
