no body in their right mind would touch these carcasses in the making ... DTV, TW .... ATT mobility cannot be compared with wireline deployment that took over 100 years to reach the penetration of over 90%. Although penetration of wireless subscribers is over 90%, the services are not available widely still. There is no uniqueness in legacy Telco's providing ISP services since that is the only service that matters while wireline / wireless services are in advanced stages of decay, becoming the vestiges of a telecom era. Information pipes alone matters, IMO.

it is funny how wall street is cheering TW merger NOW, forgetting that they destroyed a relatively successful company called DirecTV which Today's carry NOT value asit was in the past.
Remember that the same people people praised that Yahoo/AOL take over?, and we know today that the 2 companies are worthless thanks to the acquisitions.
