I was put on a cap for missing quota the last few months! HR won’t do anything. Who do i call to get this thrown out? Is this a backdoor way of laying people off?

I was over 100% for the month when I got out on final. I was told that I should start looking for other jobs and pretty much given a date that I was set to be let go. Thankfully I found someymuch better and left on my on terms.
To the last management replier, yes you are non-barganed as I was, they can take a 90 day rolling average and ho back to the Previous year if they need to cut cost and your not up to snuff with training and your nose up the lvl 4 arse; then your hot coal fire walk begins. I was 2 months into a new year and they put me on one. Even if you have hit some metrics in sales quota they will put you on cap to hit every single metric that month including the ones you hit.
I am a management employee but I missed quota a few months so have others. Can they really fire me just for missing my numbers? It is BS. HR won’t do anything.
cap is a for management
it's super easy to get rid of a manager..increase their goal to an unrealistic amount, especially with a store that is old and on the decline. Now with AR's opening up right next to them lowering numbers even further, holding managers to an number they can't reach gets rid of them super easy.
"To the do nothing union? Haha, yep do that!"
Someone would be a fool to not do so. A represented employee is owed the duty of representation. If that representation is faulty, the Union can be sued. Trust me, been there, done that. If I lose money, I don't care who I get it back from. Union money is as good in my wallet as company money. Fortunately, it never came to that point.
Yeah, you access Union help. Voluntarily waving this avenue waives redress. Whatever he's doing with HR, well good luck. But in the end, I think he needs to be making his quota, if other similarly situated employees are making their quotas. That part is missing from the 1st post.
If no one is making their quotas, there is the Union claim of "disparity in treatment" if only this particular individual is singled out.
Something tells me this OP might not be Union.
I am sorry but that is the way to show you the door. Happened to me after 13+. You are a number and nothing more. Best of luck.

If you are represented, talk to your steward.
