There are 77 total layoffs announced in Leg T. I don't have a list of all the titles, yet. A few weeks ago, there was an 80 person VTP announced. Some of the titles from that VTP overlap with the titles announced yesterday, and some don't.
I would expect that most if not all of the surplussed individuals are eligible for the job offer guarantee.
No, it's a 60 day notice. There may be some retirees leaving with grins on their faces as they pocket up to two years severance. About 25% will take a job elsewhere. Depending on where they land, there could be wage protection for a period of time. The rest will leave and not be happy about it.
But, they'll be able to leave with their full years worth of vacation days. There is no pro-rating of vacation days in the event of layoff.
It will likely take a year maybe longer, to clear the surplus.
