Stock dropping like a rock!

Why is the stock price dropping like a rock? With all the announced layoffs, the stock price should be soaring from expected profit improvements.

The stock price now is about what it was in 2016 when the scandals started.

I’ve heard from several customers that the string of bad news has caused them to move their banking relationship. I suspect that it takes time for the move to be completed before you’d see a drop in WF revenue. This quarters results will show a revenue decline so the lower stock price is adjusting.

While this might be a great time to buy, the concern is $50.00 was long thought to be the “floor”. Seeing is close (today was $46. And some change) is a concern. The quarterly profit announcement on Jan 15 better be good or this could be the new norm.

Because the scandal a day routine hasn’t even slowed down. The rot goes deep, and there are better options.
