Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

It will take years before we see any significant revenue from 5G

I understand that going into 5G market didn’t have any alternative if we wanted to be competitive on the market and that it’s a process at it’s beginning from which will not have commercial benefits for some time. Tut this situation got me wondering about how the company is going to make it in this transitional period. The media business is far from set up, 5G will produce profits in a couple of years, and I don’t have to remind anyone how much money was spent to the acquisitions. What ’s going to finance a company this big until it starts generating profits from its main businesses.
