Actually, Hans is doing what people have been talking about doing since the beginning, creating one single Verizon. One single culture and a couple of business units. People and execs have been talking this smack for years but Hans and Matt Ellis and Ronan are actually doing it. Ellis was also who made the Vodafone buyout actually happen. So let's wait and see, these guys are definitely shaking things up and tearing down old fortresses. Getting caught in the fallout s---s for sure, especially when the guilty got away with lots of gold, but people have been talking about this for years, and just talking, and talking. And thank G-D Hans is not Lowell nor anything like him!
Found this post on another thread and I have to say that I agree with @W7MK5b7-1ssk to a degree. We all know that Hans and his team certainly didn’t hesitate to make changes, and I don't know if that will prove to be beneficial in the future, but at what expense were those changes made? They were made at the expense of thousands of jobs and people’s lives were heavily impacted, their families. I can’t help but think that if these changes were needed to be done, they could have made them less painful or at least with some heads-up to the workers.
