Any thoughts on if everyone will get approved for the vsp. Will be just a matter of when Dec March or June? Or will some actually be denied? Thoughts?

There is too much legal risk in denying anybody outright. The company would have to prove that they did not have the ability to backfill your position within 6 months, which the cost of litigating that is probably more than just approving you for the VSP. Very rare anybody gets outright denied
The only reason some might be denied is if an organization had far too many that they couldn't back fill. I'm sure the attorneys are the ones who wanted that language in there- the entire FAQ for the VSP would have been vetted by legal.
I've been told by 2 well placed contacts in different orgs that the morale impact of denying people the package would be too great, they don't expect anyone to be denied, just potentially postponed to Mar/Jun.
Not every spot will get backfilled. I've heard that directly from leadership half a dozen times since the VSP posted.
I think everyone will get it and Vz will backfill any critical positions at probably much less salary expense. Another reason I think all will get it is I believe this is only the first phase of these cuts and more will come down the road after the business units are consolidated and the execs figure out how to put the puzzle together.
