WOW....everything Randall Stephenson touches turns to c-ap
DTV is slowing dying. Even he amount of fraud forced to upon reps to commit is not covering the mass exodus of DTV cancellations. I guarantee in 5 years T will no longer be an "entertainment" company.
AT&T has notified a group of dealers who sell DirecTV products that their contracts will end December 1, 2018
AT&T declined to comment to Business Insider on the number of dealers impacted, but a dealer who works under a similar agreement selling DirecTV products told Business Insider that AT&T gave 30-day notices to “thousands” of longtime residential dealers, informing them that their contracts would expire in December.
**** NOTICE the article says DEALERS. There are many different 3rd party dealers for DirectTV.
The article DOESN’T Say AT&T is cutting all DiectTV. They will use their corporate stores to force sell it, the reps are only getting paid on ‘entertainment’ now anyway and AT&T owns those reps, they write them up for not selling ‘entertainment’.
And now they have pop up stores and mobile Transit Van stores that are set up specifically to sell DTV and cellphones are a after thought. DirectTV is not dead yet.
AT&T COULD HAVE A YARD SALE, DTV dishes are great for cookouts
I don't know how much more they can chop. They are not giving any other business unit any work because they are too busy. And we can't get done what we have. And that is after they offshored thousands of DTV jobs already. Most of the jobs they offshored we have to redo the work because they simply don't get it. All the off shores jobs are good for is change of programming. Anything else has too much language barrier to be productive.
Need facts/details.......please!
