get ready to receive the pink slip. you all know as I do...budgets are a joke, pretend projects or continual prioritizing efforts to keep people busy arent going to sustain.

Hate to burst your bubble. Customer provided transport and self install. A S*#% storm waiting to happen. Competitors who are focusing on US based customer service reps and person -person service? instead of digitization? Well the churn will start happening in earnest soon enough.

Force Facial recognition remove headphone jacks and touch ID buttons because it is cheaper on the insurance claims.... Soon you will have no phones sold to insure..... Force DTV and OTT on plans and .....I digress.....

A post earlier today said that it already started in Business. ATO is the next shoe to drop.

Be Prepared, the surplus is going to happen. Offshore - Outsource the PP legacy.

There will be more reorganization coming - there is no where in ATO that is safe, Tech Dev will be outsourced, whats not already in India or H1B supported. Jeff M has said as much in Town Halls. Stick your head in the sand and be surprised when it happens.

The office presence is a way to track you, ding your numbers, set you up for the coming surplus. Expect a few of the long time AVP's to move along on to other opportunities outside ATT, dont fret over that, they will be well paid for their service, far more than a standard 6 month surplus. If your under these AVP's you are part of the reorg and either moved to another position or surplussed. They will not wait for the new year. Numbers are down.

December Surplus - Merry Christmas from ATO Leadership

I hate to burst your bubble but MOST of the fiber to cell sites is actually NOT AT&T. The wireline foot print is much smaller than the national wireless foot print.

Wireless to Eastern Europe, Call Centers to India. T must keep the outside DLC techs to do the hands on work until they sell wireless and wireline off completely. Fiber Techs will be needed, Danny in India cannot repair a cut fiber or replace stolen copper.
