Seems to me more and more that if it was offered, it was taken. This is going to be epic. I’m curious about who will be left behind on this offer. I fear it’ll take care of the managers and leave the plebes to wallow in the squalor of their disappointment. Somebody prove me wrong.

I just really hope the folks I know who took it kept it. That is why I didn’t take it.
If it is going to be more of the same argh it is going to s---.
The company will lose a lot of good workers and some not so good. Either way it seems like a desperate way of doing business. I'll stay as long as they have me or I have them.
In my VP org maybe 10% opted in. A lot of those are the stronger leaders.
Two hours to go and I'm the only one in my group (to my knowledge) who has remained firm in the decision to the the package. Three others initially accepted but they have backed out for various reasons.
I'm not without worries about this step, but what keeps going through my mind are the several layoffs over the past few years. No matter who leaves now, it's not going to stop the decline. There will be more RIFs. At least this way I can more control in how I leave the company.
Best of luck to many friends and coworkers who are staying.

@5mnp, how does one loose their mind? 🤔
Talked with some who opted in. Tough decision but they seem at peace with it.
Opted in but opted back out 300 times in my head. With 27.5 hrs left, I'm still wavering
I have talked to a few that opted in, then changed their minds. I'm loosing mine with all the stress of this.
everyone did not opt in.
