Today we'll finally find out where we stand. Wish they didn't stretch it out as long as they did, honestly. I'm just worried what's going to happen if the numbers don't align with what they had in mind. In that case, I think absolutely nobody will be safe, no matter how long they've been with the company.

I hit the button and have already been asked to revoke. Leadership is totally aware of who's leaving and who's staying.
As other posters have indicated, you won't know anything for at least a week. Best you will know today is who is willing to share that they pressed the button.
They will not be open and honest just as they were with the pensions. Upper management lacks integrity but wants you to act with integrity.

Unless very few choose the package then I think Verizon will struggle for a while rearranging and making do with who they have left. Thus with this rearranging I doubt there will be any layoffs until at least mid next year. I might be wrong but just my guess.
People still have until the 17th to withdrawl their decision, and people who were accepted wont be announced until Dec 10
