Why no one talks about the big elephant in the room during layoffs, ie H1B/L1 visas and hiring!

As a stockholder, not excited that tami "the velvet hammer" erwin is not only being kept, but promoted. She has to stay and kiss up because there's no talent in that faux velvet. She's only going to continue surrounding herself with highly compensated low skilled allies.

"It's difficult to get rid of H1B guys cause managers, directors, executives (especially foreign managment) like them cause they don't complain and get the work done, especially if the H1B guy is an Indian or Chinese."

Get the work done? True -- if the work involves taking up space. There are some very good workers from India and China, but to pretend that they're all great is asinine. They're cheap -- but often don't accomplish much. And often what they do accomplish is poor quality.

Stop drinking the Kool-Ade -- they're hired and often treated like slaves because they're cheap, not because thy're supermen.

But they are still defecating in the middle of the street at home. H1bs only hire H1bs, and the company gets to rip them off on pay.

It's difficult to get rid of H1B guys cause managers, directors, executives (especially foreign managment) like them cause they don't complain and get the work done, especially if the H1B guy is an Indian or Chinese. Just tell me, how many Chinese guys complain to their managers about this process or that process. They are told what needs to be done, when it needs to be done by, and they get it done by working late hours, and weekends. They are hungry for the job and will keep their mouths shut and do as their boss tells them. That's why upper management favors them.

Now a days, many companies are run by foreigners and they hire foreigners within USA cause they know they will get the work done. Just think about it - Verizon, TMobile, Nokia, Ericsson, Samsung, Qualcomm, Intel, Google all have executives (perhaps not CEOs) but executives who are foreigners. It's the century of the Indians and Chinese. Get use to it!

It's a tough pill to swallow. I lost my fizz for corporate life about a decade ago.
