Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Why separate public sector ?

Interested in hearing feedback as to why the reorg aligned Public Sector with Connect verses general Enterprise ? Seems like a unique grouping.

If you have ever worked in the govt space, it’s a very unique customer with special contracts, regulations, and policies. They should be separated from normal business. This makes sense, to much sense actually

Anything that purchases as an entity or organization is under business like it should be. Consumer should be in its own organization. Policies and procedures are significantly different for business and govt IE: custom contracts, pricing, etc

Lol. Why would public sector be under consumer? You’re an id--t. Apparently you don’t understand what consumer means.

It's not under Connect. Public Sector is part of the Business Group and Connect is in there as well. Wouldn't make sense to put Public Sector under Consumer, obviously.
