Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Tim Sloan Town Hall today was a joke

More distraction from dinosaur in the room. More ads (tone deaf), shiny new stagecoach logo (sigh), more hyper-focus on philanthropy (patting itself on the back). Shills asking questions (audience largely scowling).

Need to spend time focusing on the BIG stuff. Tim.

Not everyone is drinking the Kool-Aid.

Get REAL!!! Stop the fraud and incompetence NOW.

He's a lying liar who lies like the rest of us breathe. Every word he utters is vetted by Legal to ensure he doesn't say anything he might actually be held to. Just keep spouting the tired, false platitudes meant to keep the rabble quiet. The worst part is, he and his henchmen/women assume we are too stupid to see through their BS.

Do you notice on teamwork’s when there is a communication from Sloan, most times it’s his photo of what makes me think is a smirk? I think that a very different approach to all of the nonsense, is to remove those that are responsible for the entire fiasco. Senior leaders on down. Why is it that those who have done an exemplary job, in customer satisfaction, has to suffer their consequences? Less overhead = more profit for the investors and shareholders. The only ones that are trying to be appeased. Further, where is Wells Fargo’s integrity? Something that should be a top priority in its board members. They all should be ashamed with how team members are being treated.

Non-WF guy here. Wishing good luck to all. I was once with Nortel Networks. Stock was $85 per share when I got outForced to an IT bodyshop. A few years later, Nortel stock was 50 cents... yes, 50 cents. The once-proud technology company of over 100 years old was driven into the dust by assh0les who forgot what business they were in.

Sloan said it's the changing landscape of the business.* Such B S. He said "Were not doing it because we LIKE etting people go," Some in the audience laughed at his attempts at humor.

I'm not laughing and neither are my colleagues or my FAMILY, which includes two sick children.

You're a liar. Mr. Sloan. An insensitive liar.

*digital impact, etc.

If it’s not cost- cutting, what is it? Right-sizing? Life-wrecking? Stock-propping? What’s the ostensible reason? Sloan’s bonus not big enough?

Tim Sloan: The up to 10% employee layoffs have nothing to do with cost cutting. I assure you.

LIAR.

Tim, you started the Town Hall saying you're focused on being more transparent. So HOW 'BOUT YOU TRY IT???!!!

We are so SICK and TIRED of the lies and lack of accountability. You are an awful example of leadership.
