This doesn't make sense. Why would the company announce a potential sale of assets until all the dust settles from the VSP? Anyone else heard anything regarding this?

I would be surprised that Verizon has any assets that anyone would want to buy. This sort of sounds like a trolling expedition.

There are approximately 153,000 employees at Verizon. If they can't do more than one thing at a time, then the company only needs 1 employee.
