Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Should Verizon admit that they got it wrong with Oath?

It doesn’t take a scientist to conclude that Oath is failing on the market and that it’s more and more underperforming as time goes on. The basic premise that Oath should compete with Facebook and Google on the advertising market is now looking like a bad joke. I’m sure that the leadership isn’t going to do anything about this any time soon, at least until the announced restructuring at Verizon is complete, but I think this problem needs to be addressed sooner rather than later, cause it’s a matter of time before Oath starts eating up revenue on a larger scale.

We also wanted to buy Compuserve and Netzero but I was told they were unavailable for sale. At least our investment in Redbox worked out!

It is much better now because it's called Verizon Media Group.
