Rule of 75 rumor I heard on the grapevine that the majority of people being surplussed are those within 3 years on the rule of 75 in relation to pension payouts. For example, someone who is 47 with 25 years on the job = 73. They are more likely to be on the chopping block, regardless of knowledge/skills/performance, this is shameless age discrimination. If this is true, people who get surplussed should post their age + years of service on this forum, or some other place where they can connect. Maybe a pattern can be established and folks can file charges with the EEOC in bulk.
