Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Can anyone take the severance or do you need to be asked?

I was thinking of leaving and work in retail channel. Can anyone ask to leave or does it have to be offered to you?

You can tell when someone with zero intelligence posts here. They come and ask the dumbest questions like the OP. If you did not receive the email then CAPTAIN OBVIOUS, you would not be eligible. If you are so unhappy then just quit and do everyone else the favor by removing yourself from the environment.

You can stop coming in and at day 14 of absence, call your supervisor and tell them you're taking severance. If you search About you for "The one secret trick to get severance your boss doesn't want your to know" you can find the article detailing this alternative process.

You can search the eweb for voluntary separation. I don’t know if retail can see it but if you can it’ll show if you are eligible or not.

I’d expect since you didn’t get an email telling you to click and read an email from Reed which then told you to click to another web site that you are not eligible.

I’m kinda curious if you can find the page and what it’ll tell you though.

You have to be asked. You would have received an email already.
