If too many people leave a single organization, those with the least tenure would not be given the package.
No, I mean as in you accepted the package but you are deemed "too valuable" to the business.
Who and how do they decide on who gets blocked from taking the deal?
However... if verizon gets merged with another company or most of it gets outsourced.. not rehire eligible ONLY applies to verizon.
Be careful folks.
Some employers consider "not eligible for rehire" as a big red flag - even if they know the situation, once it gets passed off to some 3rd party, it could just come back as "not eligible for rehire"
blocking as in no rehire? Your personnel record will be marked as not rehire eligible.
