Just had a question is the ERM manager for your area a Human Resources manager in HR by definition? I left the company recently and was told to talk to my ERM HR manger but when I asked to, I was told they couldn’t talk to me until I talked to my supervisor who told me to talk to them for separation details. Thanks.

HR is mostly outsourced at this point but some in-house Execs and Managers.....ERM should be in house if you can locate the one for your organization and they actually respond to an inquiry as it is not their full-time job......
I've been with this company for almost 30 years. I have been thinking about retiring in the near future. I am trying to prepare, so I reached out to the 800# to understand what benefits I am eligible for. I need to know if I will get subsidized healthcare and other benefits. I have called several time only to be told, systems are down or systems are updating. When I finally got someone who's computer is up, they really could not answer any questions. They gave me some blanket answers. I reached out to the local HR manager twice and yet have received any response. So, good luck trying to get any information.

They are useless, don't know anything. Can't answer any questions, snd they will get back with you via email, laughable so it is AT&T
