Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

In Home "Experts"

Its great in the beginning as with any job but once you're out of 100% comp it's all or nothing. Every month is a gamble. You can be great one month and SOL the next. Yes it's a sales job. We all know it coming in. But then we run into the 3rd party door to door sales who have been increasingly present. Additional requirements, expectations stacking up left and right. Sales falling off due to billing errors by T, overseas reps. You wonder why we are leaving one by one. An American company that is no more American than my ladder made in China. You want us to give you 110% when you only give us 1% in return. Sad to see good people go and still remain who invested so much. Do not be lead into the deep waters of what IHX is and what T has become. Anywhere else would be a better fit to work at brothers and sisters. Take care of yourselves and be kind to one another. God bless.

“I am most upset with he lied his way into my house.” That statement is just begging for the obvious question- Did he lie his way into your house?

Enjoy is contracted to do exactly what he did. Think about it, how did the Enjoy Rep know you were having an installation at that day & time? How did the Enjoy Rep know you were not a AT&T wireless customer? Here’s how- all that information was provided to Enjoy by AT&T. That is what you should be upset about. Did AT&T tell you that tidbit when you called and got the number to Enjoy?

I had a similar experience. I upgraded my internet service to a higher speed. So AT&T sent a technician out to upgrade my equipment. 30 minutes into the installation, the tech goes outside to do something to the "box". Minutes after he steps out, this 2nd guy shows up at my door saying he is with the tech. He says he is a Customer Experience Manager and he wants to make sure the tech is doing a good job. So reluctantly, i let him inside. He is doing all this talk about how he wants me to be happy and I don't ever have to call the AT&T number for anything again because I can call him. Then the technician comes back inside. He is looking at me like, "Who is this guy"? I am looking at the tech like, "Isn't he with you?" Then I become defensive. I started strategizing how I was going to bust him in the head with an iron handle holder if he tried something. He goes into trying to sell me an AT&T mobile service! I tell him no several times. Every time I say no, he sweetens the deal. He says the deal is only good for one day. He gives me a card (that looks like I made it) and leaves. The next day he is texting me asking me if I want the deal. I tell him no again. I called AT&T to see if this is in fact their business model and to tell them I don't like it. This guy can't just show up at my house uninvited and unannounced. This is a tacky business strategy. AT&T Mobility Services told me it is a 3rd Party company called ENJOY. Their number is 1-888-GO-ENJOY. I am most upset with he lied his way into my house.

To the person who was upset to come home to find a salesperson upselling his wife- you need to call your states attorney general and report AT&T. This is a very sleazy, and unethical “gray” means to get to you the customer. The more people who come forward with their concerns the sooner IHX will go away. And I hope you threw the person out!

lets get real, who is going to go door to door selling products in today's environment? I doubt AT&T runs background checks on these people, I would be hesitant to let anyone in knowing the modus operandus of this company, always saving money at the expense on the subscribers.

I found a " in home expert " in my house when I came home from work, the douche was full court press upselling my wife !!! I hate sales people to begin with and I come home and see a tech on the roof busting his a-- and a douche in my house being real friendly with the wife !!! Well I was not a happy customer, or pleased with the creeps that brainstormed this sales approach.Just one more thing to add to the Whos running this company side of the ledger. No One ! Wants a sales person in the home during an install !
