In IT in FDK, Seems like everyone is just sitting tight while waiting for the axe to fall. Not really any meaningful information available, so lots of rumors. Grateful for everyday that goes by without a notice, but this is no way to live.

It would be strange to have Frederick remain as homemade for IT. There isn’t even that much of it there now. The once overflowing building (2009-2013) is now maybe 2/3 full. They have plenty of IT in Charlotte at a cheaper pay rate.

Des Moines will be doing layoffs. Many jobs are being offshored to India. Praying the layoff comes soon. I can't stand writing here any longer.

I was told Frederick will be the home base for IT so the site is safe, I’m not sure how true that is. The building is about half empty at this point.

Des Moines will always be relatively safe because that’s where they are based and it’s in a tier two pay area.

The body count in Frederick MD (tier 1 pay) is over 100 since June. I suspect San Bernardino also being in tier one to have folks dropping like flies at the same time. Both sites probably gone by 2020.

The level to which the company is stooping to please shareholders is dangerous for a bank already in trouble with regulators and the public. They are willing to loosely vet the risks associated with these offshore moves and it will certainly come back to bite them.

To the post below who thinks the hub won’t be shut down because WF owns the building, be warned. I work in Orlando and WF owns that building too. Late August we were advised the site would be shutting down and were given 60 days working notice. We recently found out WF has leased the huge space to an IT company.

Hoping Des Moines is next. I want outta this hell hole. Being as were a “hub” I bet we will be last since Wells Fargo owns this property. And it’s not leased. Best wishes to you all. And
