I heard there was going to be an offer soon that would include outside craft titles....but not linemen.
You’ll be moved to Ericsson and contracted back to Verizon under new terms. Why do you think VZ extended the contract? Because it’s irrelevant
They will offer craft the special 1 time offer when Wall Street tells Hans to lower your # and head count , then the union will want something in return .
Verizon will give you a craft of cheap wine and some moldy cheese and tell you ,dont let the door hit you in the a--,thats what verizon will give the union 1craft..
BTW there has been a craft buyout, NY, PA, VA, NJ all got offers. Surplus is < 5% and only 1 special EISP is allowed per year. Maybe other parts of craft will get it. Surprised outside techs did not.
