If knowingly negligent, yes. Stump saying credit card fraud was "not material" during Senate hearings was a bold-faced lie to avoid SEC violation (which can lead to prison term).

Should leaders know that eight products per customer is unreasonable, particularly when the rest of WF's competitors topped off at HALF that fIgure? YES.

Was it negligent to ignore the credit card abuses that helped bolster those ridiculous figures in order to bolster the stock price, committing fraud against shareholders? YES.

Employees definitely have a case.

Lost wages due to layoffs, lost bonuses, lost health benefits, inability to find work quickly (in part, due to being tainted by working for unethical company). ALL these are cause for a lawsuit.

The question is who is brave enough to seek counsel and kick it off?

Not an expert here but logically thinking about this, since all employment is at-will, they can hire and fire as they chose. It'd be hard to define damages unless you are an investor. The best way to go about this is to read any contracts you have as you've got employed, anyhow, I can tell you right now there are no promises there...

Again, not an expert, this is 100% my gut...

I don’t think so. If management is incompetent, it’s not illegal or unethical.
