Called in to cancel my internet, 4 cell phones and DTV. Of course I got an oversees person but once I told them I was cancelling ALL my att accounts they said please hold, then someone in St. Louis, MO came on the line to try and change my mind. Not happening, this company is utter c-ap and I will no longer do business with them. I will also inform others of the bad experiences and to avoid doing business with them. Shady business tactics will come back and bite you in the arse. The sign here trick for protection plans will not only get you fired but will earn you a cell with an inmate looking for companionship.

I switched to T-mobile when I left the company. Service is great although rural area can be spotty.
Also dumped uverse for spectrum. With no competition now you get screwed by spectrum or DTV ( and they know it) just became a cord cutter and picking up old dvds on ebay and yard sales.
and best of all.....we shut down all tech for real family time (board games and cards) ...and video games.
Left at&t over 3 months ago and never looked back. TMobile is cheaper than employee discount and by adding a few streams, saved nearly 200 bucks...Sorry if this put anyone out of work but I'll never deal with the monopolized conglomerate again.
just dodged one more bullet, i hear that there are many more coming down the road possibly as early as December this year. This c-ap is getting real old and nerve racking for an older employee (that needs just a few more years to retire). In one sense i panic about losing my job then in the next i think i will be relieved. honestly in a few years i truly believe that most all of us will be gone- you know the 2020 plan. We have vendors doing everything from customer service to building our infrastructure and repairing what we used to pay our own folks to do.
the writing is on the wall if you really want to see it, it's there. this is not fear mongering just putting the pieces together and making a logical conclusion. that is if we don't get bought up by someone else before hand--- our stock prices speak volumes. yep, leadership-- highly overpaid and running what was once a great company straight into a massive unrecoverable hole. hope they all sleep well at night while knowing they are putting off of us out of work and torturing us all along the way with the mind games.

Your job insecurity is caused by Randy and his cohorts sitting in the C-level bubble, not by a handful of unhappy customers who might leave.
I have almost 20 years in and I moved to Verizon 5 years ago, even with the employee discount the poor coverage was not worth it.
When I started with AT&T Wireless we got free phones and service, and the coverage was great. The freebies made us feel like valued parts of the company, that was much more important than saving a few bucks.
Randy and his stooges are destroying this company.
Great idea!! Let's tell all our friends and family to drop T. Then we can call each other on our new T Mobile phones from the unemployment office while signing up for benefits and food stamps.
I did the same cancelled 6 lines cut DTV, tried DTV now, it’s s---ed cancelled that. Went to T-Mobile works the same or better in my area with a 50 percent discount for veteran. Went with YouTube tv and Netflix which is free with T-Mobile. Along with MLB tv....have a baseball family. Saved 200/ month. Yeah no brainer. Will never use AT&T for anything again. Also talked a lot of my vet buddies into switching from T to T-Mobile. Also told them the shady tactics AT&T pulls... very happy former employee. I saw writing on wall and haven’t regretted a single day. Your welcome.

Lehman Brothers went out of business 10 years ago. It was 30 years older than AT a new vision. The company is getting distracted. Content is not the future there will always be competition in that space. Less so in the way we connect to these services. Wrong vision.
