The whole purpose of Verizon try to sell the wireline business is to get rid of the Union. How are you going to sell it if you go around telling everyone is bleeding money. They full of it, they are making money from it.

Great! Maybe a company who actually respects landline will buy it and we can whitewash the damn verizon paint off our trucks once and for all. Does anyone have a drill on their truck? Mine is broke and verizon cant afford me a new one.

I heard they will be forced to offer a triple EISP at closing. That would be a great way to start retirement.

Yep I heard the same, union employees would get twice their pensions and double lump sums if sold.

Yep, who would buy this?

I'd take it if they were to give me some money with it.

So gimme NE VZ and about a billion, and I'll take it. I give you nothing back.
